When i was a kid, i didn't always have access to a gym. I did later, but at home i took bricks from under the foundation that had holes in them. I slid them onto a lead pipe we had around and used that for weightlifting. It was very hilly where i grew up, almost all hills for miles around. I ran a lot to manage my weight problem, though i did nothing with regards to diet.

Resourceful. Yeah diets gonna be big, when I was young I out ran my diet in cross country. I got skinny fat though so it's not something I'd recommend.

"You can't out-train a bad diet"

I did a strict low carb diet, near keto, for four months in 2020. I lost a pants size every month! Never felt better. But i was getting TONS of sunlight too working in Dubai.

I'm a fan of strict diets for people that want to accelerate results. You don't have to do it forever either, just in sprints. The research also shows those who see results quicker tend to have better long term adherence also. Probably a good move.
