For those that don’t know, i’ve been a personal trainer since the summer of 2017. My first ever job out of grad school my salary was $20,800 a year as a trainer (not a typo). I
n this industry most trainers quit in less than 6 months.
They don’t have a vision.
They don’t genuinely obsess about results for their clients.
They don’t live the code.
They only look at the money entering the bank account.
The money wasn’t great but the lessons I took away were invaluable. I learned a lot about business & was able to further my craft of coaching.
More about me and experiences linked below. I usually don’t post about my accolades and credentials etc. but if you care about all that boring stuff just Click here.
Wolfpack Combat Academy
We’re doing things differently in this facility. We’re combining forces with Enduro BJJ and The Blast Muay Thai to build something big. If the name of the facility didn’t make it obvious, we’ll be including combat in the wolfpack combat academy. BJJ, Muay Thai, MMA, and even some self defense.
I currently train many of the active fighters at our facility and look forward to creating more killers.
It sounds tacky, but this isn’t just going to be a gym. It’s a culture. It’s difficult to describe the levels of perseverance and physicality i’ve seen within the walls of the blast.
Years ago when I was starting my career in this industry my coaching mission was “forging resilient humans through physical culture”. I could never pinpoint what that would look like, but it’s obvious now. Although that idea has molded and evolved over the years, that very idea is going to be built in these walls and I can’t wait to share it with y’all.
Anyways, everything is covered in dust, the floors & walls are torn up, and it’s difficult to believe this will all be coming together in just a few weeks. If you can support, that’s cool. If you just want to stick along for the ride, that’s also cool, I appreciate y’all.
